My Abstract Journey

Immersed in the enchanting realm of abstract painting, my passion is ignited by the allure of modern and groundbreaking artworks. The vibrant pulse of inspiration began in the heart of New York City, where the very essence of sensory-pleasing art captivated my soul. It was amidst the renowned art museums of the city that my fascination with modern and contemporary art, especially the abstract genre, took root. Since those transformative days in NYC, my artistic journey has evolved, and now, with each visit to a new city worldwide, I deliberately seek out the contemporary art museums that fuel my creative spirit.

Venturing across diverse landscapes and calling various corners of the US home, my artistic journey led me to Depoe Bay, Oregon—a pivotal juncture where fresh avenues for creative exploration unfolded. Nestled in the untamed beauty of coastal Oregon for the past 4 1/2 years, my art has metamorphosed under the influence of this wild environment. The rugged coastal essence inspires my abstract paintings, transformed into self-portraits through the intricate interplay of spray paint, acrylic gouache, gesso, house paint, graphite, acrylic paint pens, pastels, enamel paint, and hidden words concealed within layers of expression.
